Was chatting with one of the medical technicians on a follow-up for my knee today (got my stitches out)!! He was asking about what we do and who we teach, and of course specifically he was very interested in the diversity of our students as far as their ages and abilities. And one of the things he was really excited to hear was about how we have so many adult students, many of which are music teachers themselves, and aspiring professional musicians. He said something great which I’ve always believed, but it’s really great to hear somebody else say it.
