Conservatory quality private piano lessons at Tuned In are designed to give you the best overall instruction you need, and to prepare you for what it is that you want to be musically. If you just want to have a lot of fun and  play the music you want to play, and  learn how do it better, we can help you do that. We will discuss and teach you however about how to look at the music a little more carefully because we believe that music is never just music. Music has meaning, and as musicians, we should all seek to appreciate that better. But if you want to learn how to be prepared for the rigorous auditions of the military bands, scholarship committees, or conservatories—we can do that too.  The purpose behind private lessons in piano at TIA is for you to have regular one-on-one personalized instruction, just for you, according to your needs. Private lessons in piano are just $95 monthly for a half-hour lesson (weekly) with masters faculty, $90 with regular faculty or $70 for weekly half-hour lessons with student and associate faculty.

Sean-David began teaching privately over twenty years ago after graduating from Berklee College of Music. He has worked with countless instrumentalists and teaches a full roster of piano students five days a week. SD  teaches students what they need and want to know in a relatable and easy to understand way. As a musician, SD spent years struggling with what it meant to want his own musical voice (and not to sound like someone else). If you are seeking to find your individual voice in composition, on your instrument, or in improvisation, SD would love to help you find it.

If you want technical skills and preparation, SD can help you. Sean-David knows what is required of musicians for entrance into premier music opportunities. He has exceeded the necessary standards of entrance to the US Army Bands, Berklee College of Music, and even musical theater positions.

SD has been teaching piano and keyboard for over 15 years and has vast experience playing piano and keyboard as a musician, composer, and accompanist for students and sacred music/church settings. He also has a passion for music theory and loves finding ways to make theory, chord scales, and song form easier to understand. Jenna began teaching privately over twenty years ago after graduating from Berklee College of Music. She has worked with vocalists, piano players, and singer songwriters of all ages. Jenna teaches what you want to know in a relatable and easy to understand way.

If you want technical skills and preparation, Jenna can help you. Jenna has extensive experience and education in a variety of styles from pop, jazz, folk, and blues, to musical theatre. Jenna is also active with the National Federation of Music Clubs. Her students will have the opportunity, if they choose, to sharpen their skills through healthy competition on piano.

Sam is a musician and Music Therapist. From Lewistown, Pennsylvania, Sam began piano lessons at 7 years old and fell in love with singing in choirs in the adult church choir as an elementary student. Sam has participated as a vocalist in multiple choirs in middle and high school, along with competing in district and regional choir festivals.

Private Lessons in Piano with Angelia, Student Teacher

Angelia is our student teacher and the daughter of SD & Jenna. She is 17, under the direction of  Jenna and SD, and has been studying music her whole life. Angelia is a trained and extremely capable pianist.

Angelia is under the mentoring of TIA faculty. An adult TIA faculty member will be present in the building at all times when her classes meet. She has been a part of TIA from the beginning and has served as a mentor and leader in vocal and instrumental classes. Angelia has established herself as a highly effective, fun, and respected music educator and has a busy roster teaching students of all ages (children and adults) piano, ukulele, guitar, voice, and beginning drums.
