This is an older article, we have since outgrown and moved out of this building! But we are so thankful for this article! We outgrew that building quite quickly actually! The new building is great of course and we utilize it as best we are able to, and it is busy all the time! The biggest problem we have is that now we need more space!
Obviously purchasing or even leasing another building is just not really something feasible in this economy for a small organization like ours. Even though we’re growing always. And of course, we also want to be affordable. If we raise our prices so that we can pay for another facility, we are much less affordable.
We’ve been very fortunate to have churches helping us out and letting us use their spaces, and that’s always a great thing. But like the church that currently lets us use their building, which is super great, it is way over on the other side of town on the west side and not everybody that wants lessons is over on that side of town. So right now, our biggest challenge is trying to find a space on this side of town that can augment our current space needs. We have a great team of amazing teachers that are ready to teach and people that want to take lessons, but we don’t have space to put them in!
If you know anyone (a business, a community center, school, or church that is close to downtown, that might be open to partnering with space available in the late afternoons to early evenings so we can make mor music happen and be open and available for even more members of the community, please, let us know!
