The Tuned In Academy

We love music because we love people! This has been a tough few years for so many! Thankfully, with your support, the music keeps on going! Many people lost jobs over this time and we hate that! TIA on the other hand has brought on multiple new staff and faculty members and continues to do so! Thank you for your generous support!

Refer your friends!

One of the best ways you can help us is by telling your friends about TIA! So many of you already do this and are so awesome at it, and we appreciate it so much!

Reviews

Your kind and encouraging words on Google and Facebook reviews are also super effective, far reaching, and a real blessing to us! The Burien sattelite has its own pages as well (Burien FB page here).

Help us reach more and make a difference through music this year through our Scholarship Program.

Would you consider partnering with us this year? Our academy is doing great at reaching families and adults of all ages and teaching them music. This is a significant part of our mission. But as a non-profit, we also exist to provide music education and music therapy to everyone, and strive to make it accessible to those most in need of community, hope, and freedom from poverty, addictions, and pain. We would really love to serve families that could otherwise not afford the opportunity of study with us, but we can’t do that without your help.

Our goal in 2022 is to scholarship at least 25 students/clients on a regular basis. We have less than a handful now, but with your support, we could give the gift of music to so many more!

Support music education for all!

Reasonably priced and excellent quality. My son grew so much from his lessons with Jenna! – Jenna Loss, Voice Student

Did you know that each year the Tuned In Academy, a nonprofit organization, engages over 350 youths an 50 adults through music lessons, classes, performance opportunities, and therapy?

Did you know that the Tuned In Academy’s annual goal is to provide full scholarships to 25 students from households earning less than 60% of the median income for the greater Olympia area?

While our Mission Partner Tuition Rate helps a lot, it only covers a fraction of TIA’s overhead costs. At the end of this year, the Tuned In Academy will lose $9,600 in historical annual funding.

To help keep rates affordable and reach more underserved people, consider donating to TIA’s Annual Fund or Yearly Scholarship Campaign.

The Annual Fund directly helps reduce tuition rates. Donations go towards programs and operations. Please give as you feel led and able – whether it is a one-time gift or monthly pledges in increments as small as $10/month. For more info on how your donation can help, click here.

The Yearly Scholarship Campaign provides partial and full year-long scholarships to 25 local students living in households earning less than 60% of the median income for Olympia (<$54,120 for a household of 4). Consider contributing towards the campaign or make a significant commitment by supporting one student all year-long with a full Scholarship. For more info on how your donation can support these students, click here.

Many of the students in this picture received scholarships from individuals and community partners in our community band in Fort Smith, Arkansas. We would love to see the same thing happen here in Olympia, WA!

From the beginning, (we first conceived the idea of The Tuned In Academy in Arkansas in 2012) we have decided that Tuned In would be an academy for all people. To that end, we seek to make scholarships available to as many students as possible as well as instruments (either donated to the student directly or to the Academy for borrowed use).

Music is important for children, the community, and everybody. Would you consider supporting the academy by sponsoring a student or giving to our general fund? All of our musician-educators are conservatory-trained professionals and we keep our costs low intentionally to make music education available to all who would want it.

Your donations are tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit academy.
