With FOUR unique voice faculty on staff, we are here to provide you with the personalized experience in voice that you want and need. We prefer the term voice lessons to singing lessons because we won’t just teach you how to sing, we will teach you how to understand and utilize your voice as the instrument it is.
In private voice lessons students are one-on-one with their teacher in a mentor model kind of situation. These lessons are fun, casual, interactive, and paced to the needs of the student. Voice students work with their teacher on learning new repertoire regularly. We have a different theme every semester so students that choose to will have exposure to and an opportunity to learn a variety of repertoire and genre.
Most of our private students take part regularly in presentation opportunities for our students to perform music in front of their peers and the community every semester. We have fun events like Celebration of Scales, Festival, and we are also involved in Arts Walk and other community music making (at the Olympia Senior Center and area retirement homes).
Beyond simply singing lessons, all of our private voice lesson students will also engage in serious music theory learning to include understanding chords, scales, and rhythmic interpretation in a way that is fun, accessible, and makes music even more fun and beautiful.
The purpose behind private lessons in voice at TIA is for you to have regular one-on-one personalized instruction, just for you, according to your needs. Private lessons in voice are just $97 for a half hour (weekly) with regular faculty, $102 with Master faculty, and private lessons with Associate or Student faculty are just $92 monthly for weekly half hour lessons.

Available in person at the studio or virtual from your home, in front of your own gear!
We also offer small group labs in music production as well which make for a fun and affordable way to learn production in community while making friends.
