So your child started piano? How do you help them along the journey? That’s a great question! The more you are involved the more they will value it and know you are cheering them on! Well,  here’s a great tool to master those fingers on our Vimeo page.

Why not run this with them a few times a day? Then quiz them, where’s finger 3 on your right hand? How about finger 2 on your left? Etc. Maybe make a game out of it. How fast can you find it? The quicker they can master these fingers, the better!  

Once they have that down, try to get them to move through the fingers in thirds (skipping a finger between each). This is what I do in the last portion of the video.
