We have no contracts, and you may disenroll at any time, though we hope you are with us for year so we can be a significant part of your musical journey! That said, we realize that from time to time some may need to disenroll for various reasons. Please note that we cannot hold your spot in a class or lessons when disenrolled, and, when you come back—which we hope you will—there is a one-time re-enrollment fee to cover the admin costs of re-instating your account.

Mission Partner Tuition Rate: TIA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit academy. All our mission partner families are helping us keep the mission of TIA going, and we so appreciate it! $10 or more from all mission partner rate tuition on private lessons and classes go directly to the TIA general fund, bills first, all extra goes directly to scholarship students in need. We thank you so much for your support and for helping us keep the music going!

Reduced Rate Tuition Available: Would our mission partner rate keep you from enrolling due to finances? If you qualify (if your family earns less than 60% of the median income for Seattle), we can offer you a slightly reduced rate tuition, contact us for details.

30 Minute Labs (Small Group Classes)

Mission Partner $80 monthly for weekly half hour lab classes.

30 Minute Private Lessons with Master Faculty

Mission Partner $122 monthly for weekly private lessons.

30 Minute Private Lessons with Regular Faculty

Mission Partner $117 monthly for weekly private lessons.

30 Minute Private Lessons with Student Faculty

Mission Partner $107 monthly for weekly private lessons.

At TIA, all our private lessons and classes are tuition based, not pay per lesson. This makes it easier for you as you pay the same rate every month and don’t have to worry about not knowing how much you owe on a particular month. You will find the average rates in the area vary from about $30-$40 per lesson, which would be $140-$160 monthly for weekly lessons. As a non-profit, we do everything we can to provide you the best in music education at an affordable and attainable tuition rate.

Private lessons are weekly and meet every week except for TIA regularly scheduled breaks, so we strongly encourage planning schedules and vacations accordingly. *We have one week off for spring break, end of spring semester, end of summer (including Labor Day), Thanksgiving time and two weeks at Christmastime. We are also off for Memorial Day.

Multiple Student Discounts

Each family pays the full mission partner rate on only one lesson or class. All additional students and classes receive a $5 discount off of the listed mission partner tuition rate.
