Conservatory quality private drum lessons at Tuned In are designed to give you the best overall instruction you need, and to prepare you for what it is that you want to be musically. If you just want to have a lot of fun and play the music you want to play, and learn how do it better, we can help you do that. We will discuss and teach you however about how to look at the music a little more carefully because we believe that music is never just music. Music has meaning, and as musicians, we should all seek to appreciate that better. But if you want to learn how to be prepared for the rigorous auditions of the military bands, scholarship committees, or conservatories—we can do that too. The purpose behind private lessons is for you to have regular one-on-one privatized instruction, just for you, according to your needs. Private lessons are just $100 monthly for weekly half hour lessons.
Welcome Eli Moffatt to the team at our sister school, Music 1st!
Eli is a local homegrown drummer/percussionist, holds a degree in percussion performance from Central Washington University and is a great musician, a humble guy, down to earth, likable, friendly, and was recommended extremely highly by the principal of a local school that he served as a substitute band director. As TIA does not have a drum instructor, we are thankful for Eli stepping up and our partnership with Music 1st that will allow us to offer drums through Music 1st!
A formally trained concert percussionist, Eli is skilled in both classical and formal rudiments and music as well is in playing the drum set across the spectrum of popular music styles. This means that in studying with Eli, you will learn the fundamentals that will develop the kind of chops you need to play in any situation. Whether it’s blues, rock, jazz, funk, or Bach you want to play, Eli can show you the way!
